David Ivory is proud to pass on his many years of
industry knowledge in the classroom and on the road as a lecturer. Ivory is an Adjunct Professor of the "Music
Industry Program" that he also helped develop for Drexel University. He also helped conceive and instructs the Summer MI Boot Camp program designed for High School seniors considering furthering their educations at Drexel and much more...


 DREXEL UNIVERSITY:

- Adjunct Professor of the “Music Industry Program” teaching both Recording courses I and II, 2002-03 and 2005
- Consulted extensively with Dean Estrin and Dr. Attics in developing the Music Industry Program at Drexel University 2001.
- Helped conceive, develop as well as annually teach the Summer MI Boot Camp program for High School seniors considering the Drexel program.
- Developed a course in 2007 to “Bridge the Gap” between Drexel’s creative and business music industry programs.  


 MONTCO COMMUNITY COLLEGE:

ST. JOE'S PREP:

- Instructor for the Recording and Music Technology program from 2002 to 2005.


NARAS:

Board of Governors National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy’s) 1999-2003 and 2004 to present. Participate in various committees as well as lecturing for NARAS in various Cities across the country. Have been on Panels or Instructed master classes for “Grammy in the Schools”. An annual event that brings together High School Seniors from the region to be lectured and taught by industry Professionals. 


SPEAKER/LECTURER:

Guest speaker and panel moderator for Millennium Music Conference (Harrisburg), Nemo Music Conference (Boston), Dewey Beach Music Conference (Dewey Beach DE), Philadelphia Music Conference and SXSW in Austin Texas.
Member of ASCAP since 1985 and have spoken on behalf of the organization with regard to copywrite and publishing topics in various cities and events.
